Seeking Feedback on Annual Report As part of the Town of Amesbury’s Trailblazer Award, the Mayor is seeking feedback on the annual report, and input on how citizens define success for the city in a number of major functions and services including Police, Fire, Public Works, Inspectional Services, Economic Development and Finance.
Input will be used to inform the redesign of the city’s Annual Report. The city is required to produce an annual report, in accordance with its charter, within eight weeks of the start of a new fiscal year. The annual report has varied over time evolving from a collection of letters from department heads, to a book of data and details on the operations of the city.
The city was awarded the Trailblazer award for AmesStat, from the National Center for Civic Innovation Center on Government Performance in August 2009. The award included a $5,000 grant for the development of a citizen input project to be incorporated into AmesStat. The final deliverable is revised annual report incorporating performance measure input from citizens.
To take the survey online follow the link below. Paper surveys are available in public buildings including Town Hall, the Annex, Ordway Building and Library. Completed surveys should be mailed to Town of Amesbury, Attn: Trailblazer Project, 62 Friend Street, Amesbury, MA 01913.
