Camp Kent Rental Procedures

If you would like to use the Camp Kent Environmental Center for a private function, you can request the space here. Once your request has been processed, we will make arrangements to provide you with a key to the facilities if necessary. You will need to sign out the key and return it to the specified key drop box located in the Great Room before you leave Camp Kent.

  • Please note that Camp Kent is a carry-in / carry-out area. All materials that are brought to the center must be carried out when you leave. Please bring adequate garbage bags to accommodate your group. The individual that requests the space is responsible for clean up of the grounds after use.
  • Outdoor bathroom facilities will be available from mid-April to mid-October. During the winter months, we will make a bathroom inside of the center open to visitors. During other times, this bathroom is only to be used by those needing a handicapped-accessible facility. It is important that this restroom be kept clean. Therefore, its use should be monitored.
  • Group size will be limited to a maximum of 50 individuals at any one time. If you plan on having a group larger than 35 individuals, we ask that you try to spread your group over different parts of Camp Kent and the Powow River Conservation Area. This will serve to minimize the impact on the environment.
  • At this time, there is no swimming or canoeing allowed at CKEC.
